Penn State AD Pat Kraft gave his thoughts on the Nittany Lions’ conference schedule over the past few years. He is not a fan of it per Brett McMurphy of Action Network.
Penn State has opened up conference play with a road game every year since 2016. This season’s first B1G game for the Nittany Lions is on Sept. 1 against Purdue. Kraft didn’t shy away from voicing his disgust for Penn State’s conference schedule.
“It stinks,” said Kraft. “I called the conference office and said this is unacceptable. This shouldn’t happen at Penn State.”

Last season, Penn State opened up B1G play with a road game at Wisconsin where the Nittany Lions escaped Madison with a 16-10 victory. If Kraft gets his way, Penn State may finally see some changes to its conference schedule.
