Michigan will be one of the final 4 schools vying for the services of Zachary (La.) safety Kylin Jackson as the 4-star recruit from the class of 2023 unveiled his finalists on Thursday evening, per On3.
The Wolverines were in the hunt for the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder, extending an offer on Jan. 13. They will look to hold off LSU, Oregon, and Texas A&M as Jackson is set to commit on Aug. 8.
According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Jackson is considered the No. 10 safety recruit in the country and the No. 10 player in the Bayou State.
Michigan currently has 12 commitments in the class of 2023. It currently ranks No. 33 nationally, with 4-star defensive lineman Enow Etta the highest-rated player thus far. Adding Jackson to the class would equal the program’s first safety recruit of the cycle.
