Chip Kelly addresses coast-to-coast B1G, jokes one destination is off limits for Bruins

Chip Kelly is already up to speed on the geography of the new-look B1G. He proved that on Friday.
During his appearance at Pac-12 Media Day, Kelly was asked about the upcoming switch of conferences for UCLA. In particular, he discussed the distance between UCLA and one of the new conference foes in the B1G on the east coast.
According to Kelly, it’s only a four-and-a-half-hour plane trip to Piscataway to face Rutgers on the east coast.
Chip Kelly just recited the exact mileage and flight time from UCLA to Piscataway: 2,765 miles. “It’s a four and a half hour flight, a little longer on the way back. .. You hope you win so you don’t care how long the flight back is.”

During his Q&A session, Kelly was also asked a question by a publication in Canada. He wasted no time, cutting off the reporter and leaving no doubt that the Bruins are not heading north of the border.
A reporter from Canada steps to the mic.
Chip Kelly: “We’re expanding, but we’re not playing in Quebec.”
Jokes that maybe UCLA will play the Montreal Alouettes.
Love this guy.
