“It has been an amazing process but in the end I have to make a decision,” Link said. “Therefore, I am very excited to announce that I decided to commit to the University of Michigan! Go Blue!”
For Michigan, this commitment will help improve its standing in the Class of 2023 for recruits. Michigan was behind 7 other schools in the B1G for recruiting. The Wolverines were in the top 35 in the recruiting rankings. Link picked Michigan over Penn State, Stanford, and several other schools.
This was a competitive recruiting race for Michigan and the Wolverines managed to beat out a B1G foe for a highly coveted recruit. Michigan is coming off a B1G Championship and an appearance in the College Football Playoff in 2021. Michigan’s recent success could help the program land more recruits in the near future. With Link’s commitment to Michigan, expect the Wolverines to improve in the recruiting rankings and be on the same level as other B1G schools in the recruiting rankings.
