ESPN reveals date, lineup for upcoming ESPN8: The Ocho day

ESPN is bringing “ESPN8: The Ocho” of Dodgeball fame back. On Friday, Aug. 5, ESPN2 will become the he No. 1 destination for “seldom seen sports,” ESPN announced.
As “ESPN8: The Ocho,” ESPN2 will feature 14.5 hours of live events from two venues in Rock Hill, South Carolina – The Rock Hill Sports & Event Center and Manchester Meadows. The Ocho coverage features Turf Wars Kickball Invitational (8 a.m. ET) and concludes with the US Air Guitar All-Star Air-off at 9 p.m.

- 2022 Bullshooter Invitational Shootout
- 2022 Pro Breaking Tour Invitational
- Pogopalooza Cup 2022
- OmegaBall Invitational
- USA Dodgeball All-Star Showcase

The American Cornhole League (ACL) will host its SuperHole III event with quarterfinals at 4 p.m. ET and finals at 8 p.m. ET. The SuperHole event pairs a celebrity with an ACL pro. Jay Cutler, Doug Flutie, Terry Kirby, Ben Rector, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Dawn Staley, Chris Weidman and ESPN’s own Marty Smith are among the celebrities set to participate.
The programming lineup also includes corgi races, Spikeball, air hockey, World Chase Tag and Death Diving. New to The Ocho sports include pickleball, belt sander races, bed races, financial modeling, paper wings and Teqball.
