Tom Brady will celebrate his 45th birthday on Wednesday. The 7-time Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Famer has long expressed a desire to play until the age of 45, and while it didn’t look as if he’d quite get there after he announced his retirement in the offseason, he reversed course and opted for a return to the field.

Now, Brady is ready to embark on his 23rd NFL season, and one teammate that certainly remembers watching him on television while growing up in New Orleans is Leonard Fournette. The running back was just 5 years old when Brady was taken in the 7th round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and is set to enter his 6th season as a pro—and 3rd in Tampa Bay in the backfield behind Brady.

Fournette couldn’t resist trolling his quarterback on Tuesday ahead of Brady’s big day, as you can see below on his Twitter account:

Old or not, Brady looked pretty sharp in 2021 despite the Bucs ultimately falling short of a 2nd straight championship. Knowing him, though, that’s fuel that will make him even more determined to add an 8th Super Bowl ring to his already unprecedented collection.
