Trevor Penning is a rookie first-round pick in the NFL. He was also kicked out of practice during his first training camp for a string of fights.
During Wednesday’s practice, Penning was disciplined for starting a fight in 3 straight days of training camp. While all coaches love a player that blocks to the whistle, it looks like Penning might be taking things a bit too far.

That kind of aggression might serve Penning well when going up against competition in the regular season, but it looks like he needs to tone things down a bit while going against his own teammates. The Saints tabbed Penning with the 19th overall pick in the first round of this year’s draft out of Northern Iowa.
