Good news for college football fans, Pat McAfee announced on his show Thursday that he and Hall of Fame QB Peyton Manning will be doing a simulcast of 6 major college football games this upcoming season for one of the networks on ESPN.

McAfee didn’t say which games he and Manning would be covering this season, but it should be interesting. Manning and his younger brother Eli became very popular doing their “ManningCast” for ESPN2 during Monday Night Football.
The ManningCast became so popular that when Ole Miss and Tennessee met last year in Knoxville, there were cries from college football fans for the two to do the broadcast.
Even Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin pushed the idea for the pair to do the game.

Apparently, ESPN heard the cries, and fans will at least get one half of the Manning duo, although McAfee is popular amongst his fans too. The two played together on the Indianapolis Colts and remained good friends over the years.
You gotta believe that like the ManningCast, McAfee, and Manning will have guests and one has to believe one of those guests will probably be Eli Manning. It should be interesting to watch these two analyze the biggest college football game of the day throughout 2022 most likely on ESPN 2.
