James Laurinaitis was a star at Ohio State from 2005-08. The former Buckeye linebacker was a three-time consensus All-American in Columbus. Laurinaitis also won the Butkus award and Lott Trophy during his tenure.
Now, Laurinaitis is a grad assistant with Notre Dame. He recently expressed his opinion on Notre Dame’s upcoming matchup with Ohio State.
"We know the team in Columbus right now and how talented they are. You watch them on film, and you're like, 'Oh gosh, that's a talented bunch.' You can't have all these little mistakes and think they're alright. We need to eliminate those. There's a sense of urgency."

It looks like Laurinatis is noticing something in his new role. You cannot make mistakes against a team like Ohio State and expect to win.
The Buckeyes return CJ Stroud and are ranked No. 2 in the country according to most preseason polls. Ohio State is also looking for some vengeance after missing out on the College Football Playoff last season.
However, the Fighting Irish should be prepared. New head Coach Marcus Freeman has top 10 talent in South Bend. Freeman and his squad would love to do nothing more than spoil Ryan Day’s home opener in Columbus.
