Big Ten on CBS could be a real addition to fall Saturdays in the near future.

Traditionally, the 3:30 pm ET time slot on CBS has been reserved for the “SEC on CBS” game of the week. However, the network and the SEC are not renewing their longstanding television contract.

With the SEC not renewing, the B1G has reportedly entered the picture with the new media rights deal for the conference. It was reported Monday that CBS and NBC are now frontrunners in the media rights negotiations to pair alongside FOX Sports.

As a part of that new deal, it was reported that CBS is expected to pay $350 million annually to air a weekly B1G game in the 3:30 pm time slot. CBS previously walked away from the table when the SEC asked for $300 million annually for the 3:30 game.

If CBS does indeed land the deal, the network will need an intro theme for that 3:30 time slot. College football video creator Colton Denning took it upon himself to produce what could be that projected intro theme based on the existing music for the SEC on CBS intro, and it is fantastic.

Needless to say, this will get B1G fans pumped up no matter their allegiance:
