John Harbaugh just provided one of the more touching moments of the draft, and it had nothing to do with anybody in it.

The Baltimore Ravens coach and brother of Jim Harbaugh took time at the end of an NFL Network interview to recognize the late Mike Sadler and Sam Foltz, who died in a car crash last summer.

Sadler, the former Michigan State punter, was trying to make his way on to an NFL roster. Foltz was supposed to enter 2016 as one of the top punters in the country. If he played his cards right, he could’ve been one of the rare punters to get drafted.

Harbaugh was a believer in Foltz’s ability. He said that he would’ve been drafted:

Fittingly, Harbaugh said that near the end of the sixth round, which is when specialists start to come off the board. Foltz was a first-team All-B1G punter as a junior.

Gone, Foltz and Sadler are. As Harbaugh said, they are certainly not forgotten.
