Ryan Day echoed Jim Knowles’ comments about what the areas of concern for the team are. He agrees that the corners should be a top priority for the Buckeyes according to Dillon Davis of the Delaware Gazette.
It makes sense that both Day and Knowles have stated that the corners should be the focus. After all, the Buckeyes had the 12th worst passing defense in the B1G last season (246.9 yards allowed/game). Day listed the corner depth as a “top-3 concern”.
Asked about corner depth, Ryan Day said it’s a top-three concern for the team right now.

1 of the things that Ohio State needs to be careful of is injuries at that position. Jordan Hancock is 1 of the more recent injuries, and hasn’t been practicing. Day assured reporters that the injury isn’t going to be long-term, which is some good news for the Buckeyes.
