Kirk Ferentz spoke to the media on Friday, giving updates on how the WR room is looking. There was some good and bad news for the Hawkeyes.
The bad news is that Diante Vines has a wrist injury, and will not be available until at least the middle of the season according to Chad Leistikow of the Des Moines Register and Iowa City Press-Citizen.
WR Diante Vines (wrist) will not be available for Iowa’s season opener. “He’d been really practicing well.” Not season-ending but probably out till mid-season, per Ferentz.
