Carl Nassib has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being released by the Las Vegas Raiders in March. ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news about the former Penn State DE from his Twitter account on Monday.

This will be Nassib’s 2nd stint with the Buccaneers, with the 1st time being back in 2018. He also has a history with Todd Bowles, who was his DC back in 2019. In his last season with the Raiders, Nassib had 1.5 sacks, 16 solo tackles, and 3 tackles for loss. Nassib will be signing a 1-year deal, according to Schefter.

Nassib will be joining a defensive line that is already stacked. Vita Vea and Ndamukong Suh will now have another pass rusher joining them along with LB’s Lavonte David, Shaquil Barrett, and Jason Pierre-Paul also blitzing the quarterback.

It should be fun to see how Nassib gets used in the Buccaneers’ defense now that he has been reunited with Bowles.
