After going undrafted out of Maryland, Jackson was picked up by the New England Patriots, where he spent 4 seasons. Jackson collected several honors in his time with the Patriots, including a Super Bowl championship, and two Pro-Bowl nods.
In 2021, the Patriots assigned Jackson a second-round free-agent tender worth $3.384 million, and in 2o22, Jackson scored a massive 5-year, $82.5 million contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.
