Jayden Reed still has some time left at Michigan State, and is already receiving attention for what he’s done so far. Pro Football Focus posted an interesting stat about the Spartan receiver.
Not only can Reed make great plays at receiver, but he has also had some big moments as a punt returner as well. He has 252 career punt return yards with 2 touchdowns so far the Spartans. He received the 3rd highest grade among CFB punt returners since 2018 with a 92.5, finishing behind Avery Williams (92.7), and Jaylen Waddle (92.8)

🥈 Avery Williams: 92.7

Reed has also returned kick offs as a Spartan, and was a Paul Hornung Award Finalist last season due to his efforts on offense and in the return game. Michigan State will definitely miss what he was able to do on special teams once he leaves the program.
It won’t be surprising if Reed ends up getting used in Michigan State’s return game once again. Maybe Reed can bring home an award this time around.
