Bret Bielema narrates Illinois’ hype video for season opener against Wyoming

The 2022 college football season is only days away, and with each game week comes an accompanying hype video.

That’s no different in Champaign, as Illinois is set to welcome Wyoming to Memorial Stadium. Bret Bielema’s Fighting Illini started out 1-4 in his first season, but went 4-3 to finish the slate with road upsets at No. 7 Penn State and No. 20 Minnesota. What will year 2 have in store?

The media isn’t convinced of much improvement for Illinois in 2022, though, as its preseason poll slotted the Illini at 6th place in the West. But there’s no question Bielema’s group will have their minds set on beating that prediction.

On Thursday, Illinois football released its hype video for the upcoming contest against the Cowboys, narrated by Bielema. You can watch it below:

Illinois and Wyoming kick off at 4 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
