Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford wants his sixth and final season in college football to be his best yet.
As does everyone, right? Clifford is ready to go out with a bang.
“I want this year to be the biggest, baddest year I’ve had,” Clifford said. “I want to end this thing the way I see it.”
Clifford is one of the top quarterbacks in the B1G heading into the season. He threw for 3,107 yards, 21 touchdowns and 8 interceptions last season across 261-of-428 attempts.
He’s got plenty of weapons to work with, too. Parker Washington, KeAndre Lambert-Smith and Brenton Strange all return from last year, with freshman phenom Nick Singleton in the backfield. That, combined with the potential step Clifford could take, could catapult the Nittany Lions higher in the B1G East.
Penn State begins its season against Purdue in West Lafayette Sept. 1.
