Penn State’s Week 1 battle against Purdue is sure to be a fun one.
The Nittany Lions travel to West Lafayette for a B1G East-West showdown. Clifford, for one, is ready for the carnage.
Clifford: “I’ve been in games like this. The environment is going to be hectic. I know that they’re going to bring the Blackout and have a packed-ass stadium.”

Clifford is one of the top arm talents in the B1G this season. He threw for well over 3,000 yards, 21 touchdowns and 8 interceptions last season, and wants to make his sixth and final year his best yet.
To be the best, you have to play with some of the best. Purdue will offer a strong Week 1 challenge for Clifford and the Nittany Lions.
