Luke Wypler didn’t hold anything back in a recent interview. The Ohio State center knows that the bar is going to be high this season per Griffin Strom and Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
Wypler is entering into his 3rd season with the Buckeyes, but he would like to forget about what happened last season. He stated that the problem was pretty easy to figure out after they didn’t bring back the national championship trophy. An 11-2 finish won’t be good enough this time around.
OSU center Luke Wypler says he’s still “sick to my stomach” about the Buckeyes’ 11-2 season in 2021.
Said it was “pretty simple” to identify there was a problem because “we didn’t hoist that big trophy in the middle of January.” pic.twitter.com/iprn0MpfDj

1 thing that drew Wypler to Ohio State was how high the expectations were. He knows that Ohio State will always hold itself to a high standard, which is why it’s 1 of the top programs in the nation year after year.
“I love the high standards,” said Wypler. “That’s why I came here.”

Wypler started all 13 games for the Buckeyes last season, and will look to be a reliable option on the offensive line once again. It’s almost time to put up or shut up for Ohio State.
