According to Adam Schefter, the Denver Broncos and Wilson have agreed to a five-year contract extension.
This contract will be on top of the already present two-year deal, adding up a total of seven seasons, per Michael David Smith of NBC Sports.
The deal itself is worth a whopping $245 million, which includes $165 million guaranteed. This puts Wilson’s total pay for the next seven seasons in Denver at $296 million.

The overall commitment on both sides for Wilson and the Broncos is a strong indicator of confidence in one of the biggest trades in recent NFL history. Wilson was traded back in March 2022 from the Seahawks, with the Broncos sending a significant bundle of players and draft picks to Seattle, per Adam Schefter.
All in all, the Seahawks received three players including Drew Lock, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks for Wilson.
A hefty bargain for the veteran QB. Wilson will return to Seattle as a Bronco to begin regular season play on Sept. 12 against the Seahawks.
