While out on a lake over the weekend, Penn State’s head basketball coach Micah Shrewsberry showed off his throwing arm.
As posted by Penn State’s Men’s Basketball social platforms, Coach Shrewsberry was seen in a different vibe other than the usual basketball court in a video with a backwards hat and ready to show off his spiral. The Nittany Lions hoops squad used the video to wish the football team luck against Purdue Thursday night.
.@Coach_Shrews got that QB1 energy 👀🏈 Good luck tonight @PennStateFball! #WeAre pic.twitter.com/VSLYnjKlRC

Having a bit of fun on Twitter, Shrewsberry had to laugh at himself and even hinted that if the Nittany Lions need someone to step in at QB, then he’s their man. Jokes, of course.
I’m here if you need me @PennStateFball – I’m probably better suited to play on the line though 😂 https://t.co/10LZFb68h4

But, it’s always a pleasant sight to see other teams at the same school having a good time and representing their school. Nittany Lions football will be in action tonight, and no, coach Shrewsberry will not be suited up.
Kickoff will be at 8:00 pm, as Penn State takes on Purdue to open up the season.
