In the video, Hoosier head coach Tom Allen, is seen with the players telling them the news, in three different meetings during practice. To hone in on not just one scholarship announcement but a total of three, brings the Hoosier scholarship football athletes to a total of 83 to now 86, per 247sports.com.
In all clips of the new scholarship players, all the other IU players were met with applause and a lot of enthusiasm.
Congratulations to Harris, Barnes and Bomba on reaching a huge moment as a collegiate athlete, gaining more momentum with these esteemed scholarships.
Indiana will open up their season with Big Ten conference play against Illinois, tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
