Saturday evening won’t jut be the debut of the 2022 Ohio State Buckeyes. It will also mark the debut of new artificial turf at Ohio Stadium.

Ryan Day spoke on what adjusting to the turf has been like for Ohio State players.

Star running back TreVeyon Henderson is relieved the turf from last season is being replaced. Apparently, it was very slippery.

“It was very slippery. I mean, it was sometimes I would roll my ankle out of nowhere,” Henderson said, via Eleven Warriors. “Now that doesn’t happen, though. We’ve been practicing in the new turf and it feels great. It feels great now.”

We’ll see the Buckeyes and the new turf in action Saturday against No. 5 Notre Dame.
