Gus Johnson drawing strong reactions from college football fans on Thursday night

Gus Johnson is back in the broadcast booth on Thursday night, which means it is time for another season of college football action!
Though Week 0 was last Saturday, the official return of Johnson alongside Joel Klatt for FOX’s coverage signifies another step toward the full slate of college action returning. Johnson and Klat are currently in West Lafayette for the Penn State-Purdue showdown.
The first half of action between the Nittany Lions and Boilermakers has produced some fireworks, and Johnson has been on the call for every bit of it. Fans on social media have also weighed in on the performance.
Needless to say, many folks were missing Johnson and his electric calls of all the action. He will once again be a staple on all of FOX’s coverage throughout 2022 as we begin the race to crown a national champion.
