Ohio State picks up commitment from four-star defensive end

Ohio State is already loaded on the defensive line for the foreseeable future.
It’s the backbone of the 2017 squad, and with top 2018 pledge Taron Vincent on board, the Buckeyes don’t lack young talent up front.
On Thursday night, the Buckeyes picked up some more talent.
Four-star defensive end Andrew Chatfield announced his commitment to Ohio State:

Chatfield is the No. 15 weak-side defensive end and the No. 291 player overall in the 2018 class. He committed to the Buckeyes just over a week after receiving an offer.
The Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native picked the Buckeyes instead of several other national powers. The 6-2, 221-pound defensive end has offers from the likes of LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
With Chatfield on board, Ohio State has the No. 2 class in the B1G and the No. 3 class overall in the 247sports class rankings.
Chatfield played at both defensive end and outside linebacker last season at American Heritage (Fla.) and totaled 24.5 sacks. It remains to be seen where he’ll play in Columbus, but clearly it’ll be as an edge rusher in some capacity.
