Quinn Ewers revealed he had his car towed during first career start at Texas

Quinn Ewers, Texas’ starting QB to open 2022, had quite the surprise in the parking lot after his Longhorns got the 52-10 win over the University of Louisiana Monroe Warhawks on Saturday, Sept. 3. It appears that Ewers’ car was towed while he was playing in the game on Saturday.

Not a great way to walk out of the stadium but better for it to happen after a big win compared to a crushing loss.
Ewers on the day was 16-of-24 for 225 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He had a QBR of 72.4.
Ewers had a solid day on the gridiron as the Longhorns look to fine-tune their football team before competition steps up with future conference opponents.
Texas next week welcomes big bad No. 1 Alabama to Austin, Texas for a Big Noon Kickoff showdown on FOX. Alabama is 1-0 after a 55-0 beat down of Utah State.
