The Nebraska Cornhuskers got in the win column on Saturday, defeating FCS opponent the University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks. After a slow start where the Huskers and Hawks were tied at the half, Nebraska pulled away for a 38-17 victory.
Garrett Nelson for Nebraska spoke on what he had to work through after an emotional season-opening loss to B1G West foe Northwestern in Week 0.

Nebraska blew an 11-point lead in the second half of the Northwestern game and lost 31-28. Setting Nebraska behind the eight ball in the West division, while the seat is burning is under head coach Scott Frost.
Nelson on the day had 8 tackles, 6 of which were solo. He also was able to get a strip-sack against UND.
