Ryan Day is very blessed to have the WR room that he does at Ohio State. Without Julian Fleming and Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the lineup, Marvin Harrison Jr. showed up.
Harrison finished the game with 184 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns in the Buckeyes’ 45-12 win over Arkansas State. Day stated that Harrison was a big part of why Ohio State’s offense got rolling per Chase Brown of Eleven Warriors.
“His route running is very mature for his age,” he said. “The potential is there. You can see it with the plays he made. Marvin was a big part of getting us going.”

Ohio State plays Toledo next. With players like Harrison on the roster, there shouldn’t be too many problems in that game.
The story for Ohio State will be the health of Smith-Njigba and Fleming. Toledo could give Day another chance to get those two players healthy, or they could make their return against the Rockets.
That game comes on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. ET on FOX.
