Penn State improved to 2-0 on Saturday as they had a masterful performance defeating Ohio 46-10. The rout was on, and many players got to play for the Nittany Lions. Backup quarterback and freshman Drew Allar had a nice day for the Lions.

Allar was 6-for-8 passing for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day. Allar spoke to the Penn State communications team after the game. Here is what he had to say about his performance:

The road ahead looks tough for the Nittany Lions and it’s uncertain how much more we will see of Allar this season. He got to show off his skills yesterday and came away impressive.

Penn State is playing 3 teams in the top 15; luckily, 2 of 3 games are at home. They also play an SEC team this season in Auburn. The cross-over with the west division is not terrible, but playing against a sneaky Minnesota Gophers team will be tricky.

The Nittany Lions hit the road next week to face Auburn at 3:30 ET on CBS.
