Former Ohio State WR hauls in his first NFL touchdown since 2020

Ohio State alum and current Washington Commanders’ wide receiver Curtis Samuel recorded his first touchdown since 2020 on Sunday against the Jaguars.
Carson Wentz found Samuel on the 4-yard out route for the Commanders first touchdown of the game in the first quarter.

The Brooklyn, New York, native was drafted in the second round of the 2017 draft and has spent time with the Panthers and the Commanders. He had just 6 receptions on 9 targets last season and didn’t record a touchdown.
Before the NFL, Samuel was at Ohio State from 2014 to 2016, where he was a part of the Buckeyes’ 2015 CFP Championship. He was an All-American First-team All-Big Ten in 2016.
