Despite FCS Idaho jumping out to a 10-0 lead by halftime, Indiana turned the tables with a 23-point 3rd quarter and defeated the Vandals, 35-22, on Sept. 10.

On Monday, the Hoosiers announced their players of the game for Week 2. Shaun Shivers received a nod on the offensive side, while Dasan McCullough gathered honors on defense. Andison Coby and James Evans shared special teams player of the week honors.

Shivers had a strong day running the football, rushing for 155 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, good for 7.8 yards an attempt. Meanwhile, McCullough had 2 of the Hoosiers’ 3 sacks on the day.

In special teams duties, Evans was called upon to punt just twice, recording a touchback and a 2nd punt that pinned the Vandals inside the 20.

Indiana is back on the field on Saturday as they host Western Kentucky.
