Not to mention, this will be the first night home game for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights with fans in the stands since 2020.
Marking it the first 7:00 p.m. kickoff for a Big Ten game at SHI Stadium since the 78-0 loss to Michigan back in 2016.
The Rutgers-Iowa meeting will be a first for the Scarlet Knights since the Hawkeyes hosted back in 2019.
This B1G match-up should produce some heavy excitement for Rutgers.
The Scarlet Knights are off to a solid 2-0 start, including a huge comeback over Boston College in their home opener. Along with last week’s outstanding blowout over FCS opponent, Wagner.
Rutgers is a favorite over Temple this coming weekend, Sept. 17.
The Scarlet Knights hope to secure a highly coveted win when game time comes against B1G competition Iowa on Sept. 24.
