Nick Singleton has been making waves in Happy Valley. The Penn State running back has rushed for a nation-best 10.5 yards per carry among RBs through Week 2 of the season. Singleton is a big reason why the Nittany Lions are 2-0.

Overall, the 6-foot running back has rushed for 210 yards on 20 carries and 2 touchdowns. Singleton went off on Ohio University for 179 yards on 10 attempts (17.9 ypc) and 2 scores. One of his rushes against the Bobcats resulted in a 70-yard run.
Singleton was rated as a 5-star prospect and No.1 running back overall in the 2022 class. He ran for 6,326 yards and 116 touchdowns at Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington, Pennsylvania.
Singleton will have a test on Saturday when he faces Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Will his skill-set match that of the SEC speed and defensive coordinator Kevin Steele?
We will see, but so far the return on Singleton has been strong. Penn State will look to move to 3-0 with him carrying the ball.
