Ryan Day spoke highly of a miraculous touchdown that happened in the 3rd quarter of Ohio State’s Week 2 win over Arkansas State.

The play resulted in a wild touchdown catch in the left front corner of the end zone. Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud tossed a deep pass and found a leaping Marvin Harrison Jr. for the touchdown. Harrison had 2 Arkansas State defenders draped over him as he completed the touchdown catch.

The spectacular play did not go unnoticed with Day. He spoke about how that play was his team’s best in Week 2:

“Usually fade balls, you put a bunch of air on it, he had to turn it over because he knew it was a tight window there with the corner and a safety, and then Marvin went up and made a really contested catch,” Day said.

That score turned out to be Ohio State’s final touchdown of the game. Harrison finished the game with 7 receptions, 3 touchdowns and 184 receiving yards. This was Harrison’s 2nd career game with 3 touchdowns. Previously, Harrison caught 3 touchdowns against Utah in the Rose Bowl.

Stroud ended the game with 4 touchdowns and 351 passing yards for Ohio State. As the season continues, Stroud and Harrison will look to continue their connection.

Ohio State hosts Toledo on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
