The B1G is looking for big results entering Week 3 of the college football season. One reporter is sold that the conference will have several must-see matchups on the docket.

ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg listed his top 10 games to watch for entering Saturday. Headlined by No. 11 Michigan State’s road trip to Seattle to face Washington, 3 other B1G programs were listed as top-tier games.

These games included No. 22 Penn State vs. Auburn, No. 6 Oklahoma vs. Nebraska, and Purdue vs. Syracuse.

Coming off an 11-win season, the Spartans will travel out west to face former Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and the Huskies at Husky Stadium. Penix, who spent 4 years with the Hoosiers, has been on a tear since moving out to the Pac-12.

In 2 games, the dual-threat passer has thrown for 682 yards and 6 touchdowns against 1 interception, while also tacking on 27 rushing yards for an average of 6.8 yards per attempt.

Saturday will mark the Cornhuskers’ first game since the firing of Scott Frost. Led by former Nebraska quarterback Mickey Joseph, the Huskers will look to salvage their season against the high-tempo offense led by former UCF starter Dillon Gabriel.

The Nittany Lions will travel to The Plains of Auburn to face Bryan Harsin and the Tigers. In 2 games, freshman running back Nicholas Singleton has come as advertised in Penn State’s backfield, averaging 10.2 yards per carry off 20 rushing attempts. Last season, the Tigers went down to the wire at Beaver Stadium, ultimately losing 28-20.
