Ahead of Penn State’s road matchup versus Auburn, Greg McElroy and Chris “Bear” Fallica gave their predictions for the game.

Both teams are undefeated heading into the game and both are trying to make a statement before getting into the brunt of the season.

“I think Auburn is by far the most physically gifted team that Penn State has played, especially considering Auburn’s defensive front which I think can take advantage of an average to a below average offensive line for Penn State,” McElroy said. “Meanwhile, I think Auburn is going to have a difficult time manufacturing a lot of points through the air.”

McElroy had good things to say about both teams, but ultimately gave the edge to the home team.

“I lean Auburn in this spot even though the line is moving away from the Tigers,” McElroy said. “It’s tough for me to back Penn State on the road.”

Fallica also took the home team. It seems as if the SEC environment might be too tough in a pretty evenly matched game.

“I’ve seen Penn State -3… I would lean toward taking Auburn as the home dog,” Fallica said. “I don’t think either QB is in great shape by any means… I would lean toward taking the points in this game.”
