Consisting of a gold helmet, white jersey and gold pants, the team rocks this fresh look hoping to get out of New York with a win after starting the season 1-1 with a loss to Penn State and a big 55-0 win over Indiana State last week.
Syracuse is looking to stay undefeated after two big wins in the first two weeks of football. The Orange beat Louisville in Week 1 and UConn in Week 2.
Both teams have big weeks ahead with conference games on the horizon. Syracuse has a tough stretch in the next few weeks with Purdue, Virginia, NC State, Clemson and Notre Dame all in the next couple of games.
Purdue gets more of a break but still has Minnesota and Maryland coming up.
The Boilermakers also found out they will have to manage Saturday’s game without running back King Doerue, who leads the team in carries through the first two games.
Purdue and Syracuse kick off at 12 p.m. ET Saturday.
