Bell fought threw the contact and extended his arm out to wrangle the ball in, but the referees said it hit the ground and it was ruled incomplete. Despite the ruling, Bell still showed some insane athleticism on the play.
Bell is having a solid season so far, racking up 85 yards and a touchdown through the Wolverines’ first couple of games. He already has 33 yards in the game against UConn.
Though Bell’s catch was ruled incomplete, it didn’t hurt Michigan too much. The Wolverines lead UConn 24-0 just four minutes into the second quarter.
Running back Blake Corum is having a great game, already recording 3 touchdowns. Quarterback JJ McCarthy is also having a solid game, with 113 yards in the game.
