Same old Nebraska? Fans, media weigh in on Huskers’ start vs. Oklahoma

Nebraska fans were able to enjoy about 5 minutes of Saturday’s Week 3 matchup against No. 6 Oklahoma.

The Huskers saw Casey Thompson connect with Trey Palmer for a long score to give Nebraska a 7-0 lead before the bottom fell out. Oklahoma rallied and now leads 28-7 with plenty of time remaining in the second quarter.

Nobody expected Nebraska to win this game, but it’s not too much to expect them to actually compete.

Fans and critics reacted to Nebraska’s rough start against the No. 6 team in the nation Saturday afternoon.

The fall of The Huskers was fun for a few years but enough is enough. This has become sad. College Football is better when Nebraska is competitive.
