The college football bowl projections coming out of Week 3 have been updated, and CBS Sports expert Jerry Palm has 9 B1G teams making the postseason at this point.

Coming out of Week 2, Palm had 10 teams playing in a bowl. The team to drop out of Palm’s projections following Week 3 is Iowa despite a win over Nevada.

In the B1G East, 6 teams are undefeated at 3-0 at this point of the season, but Palm has just 5 total teams from the East reaching a game. Based on his projections, Palm has Indiana and Rutgers falling short of a bowl despite 3-0 starts on the season.

Here is where Palm is projecting B1G teams go bowling this season:

Illinois

  • Guaranteed Rate Bowl vs. Kansas State

Maryland

  • Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs. Pitt

Michigan

  • Rose Bowl vs. Utah

Michigan State

  • ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Kentucky

Minnesota

  • Music City Bowl vs. Arkansas

Ohio State

  • Fiesta Bowl (CFP) vs. Alabama

Penn State

  • Orange Bowl vs. Clemson

Purdue

  • Pinstripe Bowl vs. North Carolina

  • Citrus Bowl vs. Texas A&M
