Ryan Day was quick to compliment Wisconsin with Ohio State’s B1G opener against the Badgers on the horizon. Griffin Strom and Chase Brown of Eleven Warriors posted his quotes on Twitter.

The Buckeyes have won eight straight against the Badgers, and their last loss to them was in 2010. Regardless, Day knows that Wisconsin is going to stay true to who they are.

“They have an identity, for sure,” said Day. “They’re not going to deviate from their plan. And they’ve been very successful, so why would they?”

Since Chryst’s first season in 2015, Wisconsin has gone 67-24 and won around 73% of its games. Day also complemented how what Wisconsin does in what the B1G is all about. The hard-nosed, tough playing style on both sides of the ball has become a staple of what Wisconsin does.

“Wisconsin is a very good team. Epitimozes everything the Big Ten is about,” he said. “They’re always well-coached, they’re always solid, they’re always sound.”

Ohio State and Wisconsin kick off Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
