Ji’Ayir Brown was a big part of how Penn State shut down Auburn’s offense. People around the country are starting to take notice.
Brown received the Bronco Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week award for how he played against the Tigers. He had 5 total, 4 solo, and 1 assisted tackles in the win. Brown also had 1 interception and 1 forced fumble as well.
Penn State went on to beat Auburn 41-12 away from home. Players like Brown and freshman RB Nick Singleton led the way. Singleton finished the game with 124 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.
Brown will get another chance to showcase his talents further as Penn State plays Central Michigan before the rest of the its B1G schedule kicks in.
The Penn State safety knows that he doesn’t much time left as a Nittany Lion, and is making the most of it.
