Mike Locksley humorously compares game preparation to ‘grandma’s mac and cheese’

There’s nothing like the preparation that grandma puts into her mac and cheese, and Maryland head football coach Mike Locksley certainly seems to think so too. It’s the same each time, and no matter the occasion, each batch is just as good as the last.
Locksley compared that to how he prepares for each game when asked about how he is preparing for Week 4’s matchup with No. 4 Michigan.
“Who we play doesn’t change,” Locksley said. “It’s the consistency of how we prepare to play, which is what makes grandma’s mac and cheese good on Christmas Day or a regular Sunday after church.”
Despite the odd comparison, it is spot on. Locksley doesn’t want his team to prepare differently for anyone, and expects to see his team performing the same week in and week out, no matter the opponent.
We're all ears anytime @CoachLocks talks grandma's mac and cheese. 😋
