Nebraska may be extending its partnership with Adidas for another decade. And if so, the athletic department will enjoy a hefty payday.

The Omaha World-Herald reported that the University of Nebraska Board of Regents will consider an 11-year sponsorship agreement with Adidas that will be worth more than $128 million.

The Regents will meet on August 11 to decide whether or not to extend the relationship.

According to OWH, the deal would include $64 million in cash and $64.7 million in athletic apparel and equipment. If it’s approved, the new deal will take effect immediately.

1995 was the first season Nebraska dawned Adidas uniforms. In 2013, the Regents approved a five-year extension with the company worth $15.53 million.

If approved, the Huskers would have the second-most lucrative deal with Adidas, behind only UCLA.

The agreement would run through June 2028.
