Cade Stover knows how lucky he is to play with a quarterback like C.J. Stroud. He was very complimentary of his teammate per Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
The Ohio State TE has 137 yards receiving so far, and thinks that Stroud is one of the best players with the football in his hand. Stroud has been lighting up defenses through three games, with 941 yards passing and 11 touchdowns.
“I said it earlier, he is the best player with the football in his hands I have ever seen in my life,” said Stover. “The dude can put an unbelievable touch on the ball. Sometimes when you catch the ball, your hands will sting. Your hands don’t sting when he gets you the ball. I have all in the respect in the world for that guy. I’ll ride with him any day of the week.”
Stover and Stroud have connected multiple times already this season, and Stover’s role with the offense continues to go as the season goes on.
Having a TE like Stover on the roster adds a whole other dimension to the team.
Cade Stover talks about why C.J. Stroud is “the best player with the football in his hands I have ever seen in my life” and how the two of them became close friends this summer.
