Those in Salt Lake City should be thankful Utah took care of business Saturday against San Jose State.

A 21-year old University of Utah student was booked in a Salt Lake County jail after threatening to set off a nuclear reactor located on the Utah campus.

Not one you hear every day.

Apparently, nuclear reactors at college campuses are somewhat common. Just down the road in Prove, Utah BYU also has a nuclear reactor on its campus.

Whether or not this was simply a bad joke gone wrong or a legitimate threat seems to be unknown, though KSL.com reports that the student attended the same building whether the reactor is stored for classes.

I think for everyone’s sake, we should just hope Kyle Whittingham and the Utes keep winning.
