CJ Stroud and Ohio State came out on fire in a big way against Wisconsin. Despite a muffed kickoff return, the Buckeyes were not slowed down offensively to open the game.
After coming out on their own 12-yard line, the Buckeyes rolled 88 yards in just 6 plays for the game’s opening score. Stroud went 3-for-3 in the drive for 73 yards.
Those passes all went for at least 18 yards with Cade Stover, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka catching passes on the drive. The big hitter was a 33-yard pickup to Egbuka that went all the way down inside the 5-yard line.

Since the electric opening drive, Ohio State has already made it 14-0 over the Badgers. Tanner McCalister registered an interception off Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz before Stroud found Stover for the game’s second touchdown.
