College football rankings are getting updated heading into Week 5 of the 2022 college football season, and the new Associated Press Top 25 was released on Sunday afternoon.
In the B1G, the top two teams of Michigan and Ohio State remained undefeated with wins in conference play. Maryland did push the Wolverines in a tough battle while the Buckeyes blew past Wisconsin and Jim Leonhard’s defense.
Also out of the B1G, Penn State continued an undefeated start and Minnesota registered its first key win of the season with a road blowout over Michigan State. The Spartans, however, continue their freefall after climbing to No. 11 just a few short weeks ago.
Alabama, Georgia and Clemson also continue undefeated starts to the season while Tennessee is off to a hot start under Josh Heupel.
