The New Orleans Saints aren’t having much success against NFC South rival in the Carolina Panthers, but former Ohio State Buckeye and Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is making fantastic plays. Early in the third quarter, Thomas reached out for a stellar one-handed catch on a 7-yard pass from quarterback Jameis Winston.

In the previous two games of the 2022 NFL season, Thomas has caught 11 receptions for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns. Before the game against Carolina, Thomas has caught all 3 receiving touchdowns for the Saints to begin the season.
Thomas finished the game catching 5 receptions for 49 yards as the defense of Carolina held Thomas in check. Former Buckeyes wide receiver Chris Olave led the Saints in receptions (9) and receiving yards (147).
Carolina finished the game with a 22-14 win over New Orleans. We’ll see what Thomas and the Saints dial up moving forward.
